DOWNLOAD 3D PRINTABLE ENDPIN SHIMS FOR CELLO AND DOUBLE BASS
File naming protocol is as follows: Base Diameter x Shim Length x Center Hole Diameter. We recommend selecting a base diameter approximately one millimeter larger than the instrument’s reamed endpin hole — this allows easy grip while cutting the length for a perfect fit using any small fine-toothed saw. Files are offered in different lengths, as well as diameters, to avoid wasting material and shorten printing time. Center hole diameter options correspond to 18 mm, 20 mm, 22 mm, 24 mm, and 1 inch endpins shafts. They are .1 mm undersized to keep them snug on the cylindrical shaft, and to compensate for different 3D printer calibrations. 3 common printer formats are offered for each file (.OBJ, .STP, and .STL).
