ADJUSTABLE WEIGHT MAGNETic Cello WOLF ELIMINATOR
This is our newest wolf eliminator (version 2023-24). Its unique and highly effective design was created for the November 2023 Violin Society of America convention in Baltimore and we offer it to the string community as an open-source Creative Commons “CC-BY” release. In our recent blog post (linked here), you can find all the templates, instructions, and 3D printable files you’ll need to make these coupled oscillators inexpensively. If you don’t have access to a 3D printer, you can order a kit from us which has everything you’ll need!

By balancing most of the weight towards the top of the string, our trademark fixed-point resonating clamps control wolf tones more effectively with less mass than traditional string-mounted “wolf eliminators.” Finely machined using Swiss CNC techniques in surgical stainless steel. Available in 5 or 6 gram options which have interchangeable brass or stainless steel bottoms.
Legacy Cello wolf rehabilitator set
Featuring 3 button-style wolf clamps with interchangeable tops and bottoms that allow incremental weights ranging from 4.7 to 7.3 grams. By balancing most of the weight towards the top of the string, these clamps control wolf tones more effectively than traditional “wolf eliminators.” The finely machined brass and stainless steel tone clamps offer nine possible combinations to manage an instrument’s sound and response. In addition, the set includes Saddle Rider’s legacy magnet resonator with a safe installer making insertion and removal easy and fast. Attractively boxed. Carefully selected wool pads offer just the right amount of wolf control and tone centering. Includes a leather cover for the magnets. 25 gram or 16 gram models available.
